Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year!

We are are looking forward to a wonderful year in which your child/children will benefit from the programs that PTA supports at Fern Drive. Please remember your input and participation is more than welcomed and appreciated. Let me tell you a little bit about me. I have a daughter in 6th grade and a son in 3rd grade. I have been involved in the PTA since my daughter started kindergarten at Fern Drive.

Our first general PTA meeting is September 12th at 8:35 am in Room 14. We are hoping that the meetings will last only one hour as we know everyone is busy. This will be the time to come and see what programs PTA helps provide to the students with the ongoing support of our principal Ms. Choo and the wonderful teachers at Fern Drive.

We still have positions available that need to be chaired or co-chaired. You will be receiving a letter from Elissa Gilbert, Executive Vice President. Please make sure to read it, and, if something catches your attention, please do not hesitate to turn it in with your name and phone number on it.

Once again, we are looking forward to a new and wonderful year here at Fern Drive Elementary School.
