COURSE CATALOG

The objective of the online course catalog is to give both students and parents an electronic reference to the instructional programs offered at LV. It provides a description of the Academic Programs and the Elective courses that are offered at the school. Additionally, the required courses for 7th and 8th students are outlined below. ELECTIVES PROGRAM

LV provides a unique experience to its students by offering a large number of elective choices in a diverse Electives Program. The purpose of this program is to provide the students with an opportunity to explore their individual talents and interests.

ELECTIVE CHOICES: LV students are asked to take a more active role in routine decision-making. Therefore, in addition to the required subjects, each student, along with the guidance of their parents/guardians, must choose electives to complete a seven period day. Students will choose six electives courses, indicating two courses that are their first preferences. It is extremely important that students select elective courses with care. LV cannot guarantee that first choice will be granted, so it is vital that students plan their schedules carefully.

REQUIREMENTS & PREREQUISITES: Many electives require a full year commitment while others require a semester commitment. The course descriptions indicate if there are prerequisites for the particular course. It is important to note that all electives are open to both boys and girls.
