WELCOME TO MY class WEBSITE!

I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with your family and your student this year, as we build our brain power and go on a learning journey together!  I believe in hard work and I believe that learning should be fun.  Together, we can make this year a positive experience for your student.  first grade is a year of amazing growth, from learning how to identify and understand numbers, learning letters and their sounds, to enjoying the wonders of reading.  We are fortunate to have the opportunity to use ipod touch units in our class as a 21st century learning tool.  your student will use educational apps to support their phonics and math skills. Additionally, your student will use their ipod as a tool to work in all subject areas to build their technology skills. my goal is to help your student build a solid foundation this year and become readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and 21st century students!
