I was born in Indianapoils, Indiana, and my family moved to Orange County shortly after I was born.  I went to Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, attended college at California State University, Long Beach, and graduated with a BA in Biological Anthropology.  After graduation, I decided I wanted to become a teacher, so I returned to school to receive my CLAD Credential. 

One of my favorite things to do is to travel.  I enjoy learning about different cultures and trying new foods.  I also like spending time outdoors and enjoy our national parks.  

My husband and I are expecting our first child in May and we are both very excited!  We also have two dogs and one cat that keep us entertained.
