I am the full-time SLP (Speech, Language Pathologist) at Orangethorpe School.  Another SLP works at out school two days a week.   This year it is Mrs. Anderson who also works at Sunset Lane School.  Mrs. Rogers is a Speech Language Pathologist Aide (SLPA) who helps out on Monday  and Thursday mornings.  Our students work hard at learning vocabulary, grammar, reasoning, social skills and speech sounds. 

The students are the best part of my work day. 

When I am not at school, I like to garden, walk, go to movies, play Dr. Mario, do crossword puzzles and Sudoku.   I love classical music and attend concerts held by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.   The opera is also something that I love, but I don’t get to attend very often.
